To ensure you receive your grant you will need to:
- Secure a block of land and sign a land contract
- Refer to www.sro.vic.gov.au for site start criteria. You need to ensure that land title availability meets the FHOG conditions
- Please note site start (as defined by the SRO) must be within 26 weeks of building contract date
- Choose your favourite Places Homes design
- Organise finance pre-approval
First Home Owner Grant eligibility is based on the building contract date, NOT the land contract date and NOT the deposit date.
From January 2010 the First Home Owner Grant entitlement is $18,000, but Places will still
- Lock in your price and promotion
- Guarantee your site start date
- We’ll build on your land OR choose one of our House & Land Packages
- Our building contracts are 100% fixed price
- We guarantee price, promotion and site costs
