The First Home Owner Grant has increased to $20,000.

Below is important information relating to the First Home Owner Grant and how you can secure the $20,000. If you have any questions about the Grant and what you need to do, call us on 1300 PLACES or speak to your Sales Consultant.

IMPORTANT. First Home Owner Grant eligibility is based on the building contract date. NOT the land contract date and NOT the deposit date.

Be aware that it can take between 4-8 weeks to prepare a building contract with Places Homes. So make sure you have enough time to do your research and start the process to secure your $20,000 Grant.

To secure the Grant you will need to:

STEP 1:        Visit the State Revenue Office's website at www.sro.vic.gov.au to check your eligibility.
STEP 2:        Organise your finance pre-approval.
STEP 3:        Secure a block of land and sign a land contract.
STEP 4:        Choose your favourite Places Homes design and sign a building contract.
STEP 5:        Read the lodgement guide and submit your application forms available at www.sro.vic.gov.au.

Getting the Grant money

The Grant will be paid in a lump sum when your new home is completed and a certificate of occupancy is provided.
